We had 18 players turn up to compete in round 3, split into two tables of nine players each. As usual the split was made on points gained so far this year, with tie breakers for wins, achievements, and rounds played in.
Two new players came, Shannon and Alex S (another Alex S!). The new Alex hasn’t joined LXG (yet) and so is off the table pending next month. Alex if you join in April your attendance in March will be counted.
On the top table Dalton B again won big, proving he can obliterate any crowd! A seven point win cements Dalton’s lead. David K picked up two points, and Adrian R one. Adrian R becomes the first achievement winner, gaining the Dark Horse achievement for getting at least one point three melees in a row, without winning a melee in that time.
On table 2, Eddie C had a big victory, with 8 points scored. Leanne J and newcomer Shannon R picked up the remaining points at the table. Shannon R also became our second achievement winner, gaining the Big Hands achievement for drawing an epic 10 cards in a single turn. Nice!
